Model-Driven Engineering of Cooperative Systems

Abstract

CCW (Capillary Cooperative Work) is a CSCW environment with pervasive, mobile and mixed reality characteristics. The construction of such systems must be well organized. We are currently working on a framework and a methodology of construction of applied CCW systems which is based on three main models and a transformation process called CoCSys (Cooperative Capillary System Engineering Process) which are scenario and model based and which proposes a Model-Driven Engineering allowing transformation of a Cooperative Behavior Model to specific implementations on different working devices (laptop, TabletPC, PDA, etc.). We describe particularly the transformation process and the use of different patterns.
