On singularities in direct and inverse scattering problems
Résumé
Slides of a survey talk given on invitation at the American Institute of Mathematics, as part of the workshop "High-order methods for computational wave propagation and scattering". All three co-authors were invited and contributed to the text of this talk. It presents some particular aspects of direct scattering in acoustics in presence of geometrical singularities inside the boundary of the scatterer, at low and high frequency regimes. It also presents news trends in inverse scattering.
