Towards a conceptualization of decisional interoperability

Résumé

To be competitive in an evolutive industrial environment, enterprises have to collaborate. In order to improve the collaboration between enterprises – collaboration in terms of communication and interaction allowing enterprises to reach their objectives – the development of the interoperability has become an important issue. The research work presented in this paper is concerned with the interoperability of decision-making activity so-called the decisional interoperability. This paper discusses decisional interoperability role in the context of collaborative decision-making, and defines what the decisional interoperability is. A simplified case study is proposed at the end to illustrate the proposed approach.
