Observability and variables classification in bilinear processes

Résumé

An algorithmic approach is presented which allows the separation of observable variables of a process described by bilinear equations. Consequently, this separation gives the equations which contain all the observable variables and allows the reconciliation of the observable data. Several examples demonstrate the developed algorithms and indicate the usefulness of the proposed approach in adjusting the process data through the use of balance equations.
