Résumé

This paper focuses on the flexural behaviour of RC beams externally reinforced using Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastics (CFRP) plates. A non-linear finite element (FE) analysis is proposed in order to complete the experimental analysis of the flexural behaviour of the beams. An elasto-plastic behaviour is assumed for reinforced concrete and interface elements are used to model the steel-concrete bond and the adhesive. The numerical analysis also includes simulations on pre-cracked beams.
