Abstract : This paper introduces the EU Framework VI EmBounded project, a e1.3M project that will develop static analyses for resource-bounded computations (both space and time) in real-time embedded systems using the domain-specific language Hume,a language that combines functional programming for computations with finite-state automata for specifying reactive systems. The EmBounded project aims to identify, quantify and certify resource-bounded Hume programs, evaluating our models and analyses against realistic embedded appli-cations taken from the real-time control and computer vision domains.
