IndDoc: An aid for the back-of-the-book indexer

LIPN (Laboratoire d'Informatique de Paris Nord) has been developing a programme (IndDoc) which uses Natural Language Processing techniques to ease the task of the back-of-the-book indexer. This article describes the main features of the system and invites feedback from readers.
