Un graffito de propriété sur un gobelet gallo-romain en terre cuite du musée des Beaux-Arts d’Angers

Abstract : This note offers the first archaeological and ceramique study of a terracotta cup kept at the Angers Museum of Fine Arts and the deciphering of the inscribed graffito. This double study makes it possible to locate the manufacture of this object in the first century AD (the third quarter at the latest) and to interpret the inscription as a “speaking inscription”, of which many examples are known for the same period.
