Cranking of nuclei at finite temperature : a semi-classical approach

Résumé

We present a generalization of the Extended Thomas Fermi (ETF) theory to fermionic systems at finite temperature and finite angular momentum. In fact the present approach is more general in the sense that it is able to treat an excited system of fermions subject to an external vector field which in the case of nuclear rotations, developed more extensively here, is simply .
