Nuclear Structure Correction to Superallowed $0^+→0^+$ $\beta$-decay Revisited
Résumé
We present a new shell-model calculation of the isospin-symmetry breaking correction to superallowed 0^+ → 0^+ beta decay for selected sd and pf-shell emitters. The correction has been calculated as a sum of two contributions: one arising from the isospin-nonconserving shell-model Hamiltonian, while the other being due to the use of realistic Woods–Saxon (WS) or Skyrme Hartree–Fock (HF) radial wave functions. New features of the calculations are discussed. The results are compared with the previous work within the shell-model.
