In this paper we consider the b-Family Equations on the $\mathbb{S}$ $u_t+ u_{txx}+ (b+1) u u_x=b u_x u_{xx} + u u_{xxx}=0$, that for appropriate values ??for $b$ includes well known models, such as Camassa - Holm equation or the Degasperis - Procesis equation. We establish a local-in-space blowup criterion
