" Hannah More [1745-1833]
Résumé
Caring for a soul is a strong concern for Hannah More. It is a vocational guidance and also a skilful control. Voluntary care comes under amateurism while paid care is calling for women trained to be experts in charitable work. They work alongside other thoroughgoing women who they are giving therapeutic cure. Hence, there is a change from "care" to "cure".
