Combinatorial rigidity of arc complexes
Résumé
We prove that every automorphism of the arc complex of a compact orientable sur- face with marked points in the interior and on the boundary is induced by an homeomorphism of the surface which fixes the marked points set wise. Our proof is based on a combinatorial ap- proach which leads some new information on the geometry of these objects and is independent by all the other well-known combinatorial rigidity results.
