L'AGRICULTURE DURABLE, ELEMENT DE STRATEGIE POUR LE DEVELOPPEMENT RURAL COMMUNAL CAS DE LA COMMUNE D'AMPITATAFIKA- DISTRICT D'ANTANIFOTSY- REGION DU VAKINANKARATRA
Résumé
Its wealth of natural resources in Madagascar provides an important agricultural potential. However, rapid population growth and increased poverty of the Malagasy population, combined with a vulnerability of environments, posing serious threats to the conservation of natural resources and sustainable forms of agriculture. Under these conditions, the objective is to determine the feasibility of sustainable agriculture, in connection with concerns in terms of sustainable development. The assumption is sustainable agriculture, induced by modes of operation agro-forestry-pastoral comply reproduction of resources used. The research was carried out in nine villages in the rural commune of Ampitatafika. The analysis of how agricultural production systems has to know the details of farming practices, their timeliness and effectiveness in order to develop a strategy towards sustainable agriculture development. The use of the typology has led to the classification of farms into distinct groups. The study area does not homogeneous in terms of sustainability of agriculture. Some practices are at risk of unsustainability of their holdings because of the reproducibility and the economic viability of their unsecured operating systems. The revitalization of the rural community by supporting diversity and diversification, strengthening of private institutions and governance structures as well as improved policies and planning are examples of shifts towards sustainable agriculture.
