"Some Features of γ-ε Martensitic Transformation and Shape Memory Effect in Fe-Mn-Si Based alloys"

Résumé

In the present paper several important aspects concerning the shape memory behavior of the ε-martensite in the cost-saving Fe-Mn-Si-based alloys and its application are reported. Some kinetic features of the V-εmartensitic transformation are discussed. The effects of the composition, volume change induced by the transformation, strength of austenite, temperature of pre strain on the shape memory effect have been investigated.
