COMPACTION DYNAMIQUE DE POUDRES METALLIQUES PAR CHOC LASER
Résumé
Shock waves are generated by laser pulses in aluminium powder targets. The passage of the shock wave produces a densification and a consolidation of the powder on a small depth under the irradiated surface. Effets are similar to those of conventional shocks, but are observed on short distances as a consequence of the short duration of the pressure pulse.
