CRITICAL STRESS-INDUCED RELAXATION IN RELATION TO LONG-RANGE ORDERING, IN Au3Cu, AND SELF-INDUCED ORDERING, IN AuNi SOLID SOLUTIONS
Résumé
This paper reports the results of combined measurements of the resistivity and anelasticity of Au3Cu and Au70Ni30 alloys. The data show anomalies above the critical temperature for long range order in Au3Cu and below the spinodal in Au70Ni30. In both cases the anomalies suggest the existence of intermediate states. In Au3Cu this is a state of pronounced short range order whereas in Au70Ni30 it is an intermediately decomposed state.
