LASER SPECTROSCOPY OF Bi4Ge3O12 SINGLE CRYSTALS : EMISSION MECHANISM AND SATURATION EFFECTS
Résumé
Under powerful laser excitation, the wide fluorescence band of bismuth germanate shows holes the formation of which is related to a saturated absorption process of various emitting centers which contribute to the overall fluorescence. It is shown that a correlation exists between this phenomenon and the excitation transfer mecanism and a model is proposed to interpret the experimental results.
