REVIEW ON RECENT WORKS ON VORTICES IN SUPERCONDUCTORS

We review : a) the numerical solutions of Gorkov's theory for the ideal vortex lattice in the entire field-temperature plane, and b) the distorted-lattice solutions of the Ginzburg-Landau theory and their application to flux pinning.
