Pheropsophus cinctus hubenthali Wagner 1926 is a good species, quite different from Pheropsophus cinctus (Gory, 1833) and with habitus and coloring similar to those of Pheropsophus marginatus (Dejean, 1825).

Pheropsophus hubenthali Wagner, 1926 est une bonne espèce, très différente de Pheropsophus cinctus (Gory, 1833) et d’habitus et de coloration proches de ceux de Pheropsophus marginatus (Dejean, 1825).
