From mathematics to control theory: study of the transposition effects on the Laplace transform within engineers training

This article discusses the teaching of the Laplace transform and the technics which it allows as a part of the training of expert technicians and engineers. Three choices of teaching are compared, one mathematics course and two control theory courses. This study is focusing on the way in which these realizations are situated relative to the reference sciences, mathematics and control theory, and to the professional world. As part of the Anthropological Theory of Didactics, a development of the praxeological model provides an analytical tool which allows to identify different transpositive options operated by the studied courses
