Analyse contrastive de la conjonction que en français et en mandarin standard1 : point de vue morphosyntaxique et de trois modalités sémantiques (modalité contenu, modalité épistémique, modalité des actes de parole)

Abstract : This article focuses on the term “que” in the complementary proposals in French and in standard Mandarin by adopting the morphosyntactic point of view and that of “content, epistemic modality, speech-act modality” (E. Sweester, 1990). Through precise analysis, we will compare que and its Chinese equivalents on the morphosyntactic level; secondly, we will analyze the different semantic interpretations of que and its Chinese equivalents, especially in the case of que + subjunctive. The goal of this research is to render a specific yet complete study of the proliferation of equivalents of que in the complements in standard Mandarin.
