La gestion des risques en station de sports d’hiver : le cas de la station-village du Mont-Dore

Abstract : This study consists of one study which examines hazards production and risk management in ski resorts. Several factors justify this reflection. First, accidentology related to skiing is stable since fifteen years. Furthermore, risk analysis in this specific domain is quite underdeveloped. Lastly, organizations managing risks in ski resorts involve many actors, which generates complexity and a kind of vagueness. The analysis procedure employed and the main results of a case study are set out in this paper that aims two objectives : understanding accidental phenomenon on the study area (quantitative and qualitative angles) ; clarifying the functioning of the risk managing organization. Results point out limits about risk management on the case analysed. Plural logics of action have been identified within the security system, which permit to understand its concrete functionality and relationships that take shape within it.
