Embedded system engineering as a solution to face future automotive industry challenges
Résumé
Zero emission, zero accident, connected car, automotive industry is facing several challenges in which embedded electronic systems play a huge role. This paper describes the growing functional interdependencies and the related necessary rework
of the functional architectures. The paper then analyses the feasibility of turning this functional architecture into a physical architecture, detailing the compromises an automotive architect has to find.
