Les constructions à verbe support en latin
Résumé
Les études réunies dans ce volume s'articulent autour des thèmes suivants:
- la distinction entre verbe "plein" et verbe "support";
- le registre de langue et les langues au contact (emprunts);
- les propriétés sémantiques (agent, patient, destinataire) et leurs fonctions;
- le repérage des constructions à verbe support.
Le présent volume se fixe un double objectif: contribuer à une meilleure compréhension des faits latins et, en même temps, explorer le phénomène des constructions à verbe support dans une perspective élargie orienté vers la linguistique générale.
Les articles sont rédigés en anglais, en espagnol ou en français.
The articles in this volume focus on the following topics:
- the distinction between a "full" and a "support" verb;
- social variation and language contact (borrowing);
-semantic and syntactic properties of verbal nouns;
-diachronic evolution and change;
-semantic participants (agent, patient, addressee) and their functions;
-the identification of support verb constructions.
The objective of the present volume is twofold: to contribute to a better understanding of the Latin facts an, at the same time, to explore the phenomenon of support constructions in a broader perspective oriented towards general linguistics
