Modélisation de la perte de sol dans la forêt de Bkassine (Liban sud)

This study addresses the problem of water erosion and landslides in the forest of Bkassine. From a qualitative approach based on the method of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) using GIS, we combined data such as: soil erodibility, slope and aspect, influence of vegetation cover, lithology and drainage. The result of the mapping highlights the areas affected by the erosion and landslide risks and shows that the average and high sensibilities classes dominate the study area.
