Résumé
This work restores from a dense ethnographic experience, questioned by a rigorous anthropological reflection, a little studied reality: the Haitian migration in French Guiana. The link between this phenomenon which was the subject of a fieldwork from 2001 to 2006 and the identity and social configurations that are both the product and the support, is treated through a dynamic approach in "Considering a" migratory situation "in its construction" (p.15). From the introduction, the author proposes a theoretical and methodological reading grid to apprehend these configurations as a process in which relations with the "other same", Haitians, and the "other different", the non-Haitians, unfold.
Cet ouvrage restitue à partir d’une expérience ethnographique dense, interrogée par une réflexion anthropologique rigoureuse, une réalité peu étudiée : la migration haïtienne en Guyane. L’articulation entre ce phénomène qui a fait l’objet d’un travail de terrain de 2001 à 2006 et les configurations identitaires et sociales qui en sont à la fois le produit et le support, est traitée à travers une démarche dynamique en « envisageant une “situation migratoire” dans sa construction » (p. 15). Dès l’introduction, l’auteur propose une grille de lecture théorique et méthodologique permettant d’appréhender ces configurations comme un processus où se déploient les relations aux « autres mêmes », les Haïtiens, et aux « autres différents », les non-Haïtiens.
