Performance des exploitations viticoles et utilisation des intrants phytosanitaires : apport de la méthode benchmarking

The Ecophyto 2018 program foresees a reduction in the inputs used for plant protection of 50% in 2018. The study implements a competitive benchmarking by comparing wine-growing farms sharing a similar production technology and evaluating potential reductions in inputs used for plant protection as well as a functional benchmarking for evaluating additional potential reductions induced by some technological changes without challenging the productive structure of these farms. Results show that wine-growing farms in the Languedoc-Roussillon and PACA could reduce their inputs for plant protection by 30% by adopting benchmarking prescriptions.
Le plan EcoPhyto 2018 prévoit une diminution de 50% des quantités d’intrants phytosanitaires apportées à l’horizon 2018. Ce travail met en oeuvre un benchmarking compétitif permettant de comparer les exploitations ayant la même technologie de production et d’évaluer les possibilités de réduction des intrants phytosanitaires mais aussi un benchmarking fonctionnel permettant d’évaluer les réductions additionnelles induites par des évolutions technologiques ne remettant pas en cause la structure productive de ces exploitations. Les résultats montrent que si les exploitations des régions Languedoc-Roussillon et PACA adoptent les préconisations du benchmarking, les quantités d’intrants phytosanitaires apportées peuvent être réduites de 30%.
