Elaboration d’indicateurs de développement d’une posture écocitoyenne chez les étudiants pour évaluer les effets de l’éducation au développement durable dans l’enseignement supérieur.

Abstract : Nowadays, higher education institutions are increasingly called upon to get involved in education for sustainable development processes, in order to contribute to form responsible environmental citizens. There is a growing institutional demand to develop indicators that will allow assessing the efficiency of the actions taken in this area. In response to this need, we propose indicators that reflect two “relational” dimensions of the eco-citizen attitude: relatedness to non-human environment and empathy towards each other. To operationalize these dimensions, we have elaborated and validated two psychometric scales FAC and CEC. Data from 682 French students demonstrated that the questionnaire “FAC /CEC” has adequate psychometric properties and correlates with related theoretical concepts.
