General presentation of the digital work environment and work flow of the ARA (Audiovisual Research Archives) Program. The ARA Program has been conceived and initiated by Peter Stockinger in 2001 and implemented by the research group ESCoM at the Fondation Maison des Sciences de l'Homme in Paris. The ARA Program has been active till the end of december 2015. It will be replaced at the end of 2016 by the Campus AAR platform, financed by the French ANR (Agence Nationale de la Recherche).
