Jalons de développement pour un logiciel de support à la gestion des règles ergonomiques

Abstract : New software tools for developing interactive systems progressively appear both on the market and from research. Since these tools are more and more frequently based on guidelines aimed at developing the user interface of an interactive system, they induce some significative change in the way systems are developed. These guidelines are indeed no longer applied by ergonomists, but by designers supported by this kind of tools. To address these question, five milestones for developing a tool for working with guidelines are introduced : (1) collecting guidelines, (2) organizing guidelines, (3) their embodiement into a method, (4) their operationalization, (5) the use of guidelines. In this overview, each milestone is defined, their goals are precised, their general procedure is specified and the related problems are discussed. A critical summary of some research experiences in this domain is provided ; then, these experiences are analyzed for their displayed completeness, consistency, and soundness. Finally, we draw some conclusions useful for using or developing a tool for working with guideline.
