L’INFLUENCE DE L’ORALITÉ SUR LA FORMATION DE LA NORME LINGUISTIQUE: ANALYSE DE LA PLACE DES PRONOMS ATONES DANS LA GRAMMAIRE DE LA LANGUE PORTUGAISE

Abstract : The aim of this paper is to analyze how orality is represented in Brazilian grammar texts and examine how it determines changes in normalization grammar. This research falls within the history of linguistic ideas and the object of study is grammatising of pronominal clitics in Portuguese, which started in the XVIII century with the text of Argote (1721). The standard was formulated on such basis and along time built on Brazilian grammar, especially during the XX century. Our hypothesis is that the use arising from orality, firstly considered as incorrect, was responsible for the modification of rules that are valid for Brazilian Portuguese and professed in reference grammars.
