Comparative additive genetic basis of high feed substitution by plant ingredients in four major fish species farmed in temperate and southern Europe

Résumé

This study compared the effects of high fish meal and fish oil (FOM) substitution by plant ingredients on genetic parameters of growth, gutted yield and fillet yield in 4 species reared in temperate and southern Europe: rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss, RT), sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax, SB), gilthead sea bream (Sparus aurata, GSB) and meagre (Argyrosomus regius, MG).
