Working in partnership: a professional gesture of the special needs teacher

Résumé

Support provided by the specialist teachers is considered ineffective (Gossot, 1996; Ferrier, 1998). Recent educational policy gives responsibility for learning support back to the ordinary teacher and perturbs the core activity of the maître E and maybe also that of the ordinary teacher. The question of working in partnership becomes essential, so, in the research presented here, we examine how a specialist teacher "maître E" takes in account this new part of his job
