Abstract

Experimental data on exposure of rodents to 900 MHz microwaves show that exposure impacts body mass index and food intake. French statistics show that the Body Mass Index (BMI) of the French population increased by about 3% after the introduction of GSM. The possibility that these observations are causally related and that the increase of the BMI of the French population may be due to the onset of GSM networks is investigated.
