Fuzzy capacity planning for an helicopter maintenance center

Aircraft maintenance costs are becoming an important issue in the aeronautical industry. In this paper we present a tactical planning model for an helicopter maintenance center. The objective is to guarantee a good service level, i.e. to limit aircraft visit duration. Di culties come from the numerous uncertainties on maintenance activities: additional activities, procurement delays... To cope with these uncertainties, a fuzzy multiproject planning model is proposed. From the task fuzzy dates and durations, a periodic load chart can be established. Then a parallel algorithm is adapted to this model in order to solve capacity problems.
