Résumé
This research aims to contribute to the study of the processes and the dynamics of rural change and the role that the production of novelty and the formation of niches (representing the local level) can play in creating new configurations designed to achieve sustainability. In this sense, it was adopted a systemic attributes group to evaluation of the agroecosystems. The results showed that the innovation of the small farmers improved the elements which compose the sustainability of the system, becomes possible the sustainable use of the land, ensuring the increase of the income, maintenance of the familiar and workstructuring of the farm, contributing on consideration of the local knowledge as a central factor in the politics of the promotion of familiar system sustainability and as a basis to the transition process toward agroecology.
