Pulsating Torque Calculation of PWM fed Induction Motor Using Coupled circuit-FE Model

Time Harmonic Finite Element (THFE) model accounting for phase belt harmonics and saturation is coupled with circuit model to determine current and torque waveforms of PWM inverter supplied induction motor. Comparison with Time Stepping FE model is given and discussed.
