Les polymères et le feu
Résumé
Polymeric materials, carrying a high combustible load, are used more and more massively in the majority of branches of industry. The limitation of the dramatic consequences of possible fires in which they are involved requires the study and development of increasingly powerful solutions for fire retardancy. This article briefly presents these problems, the compounds used to improve the fire resistance of polymers and their major modes of action.
