Mass excess and excited states of 14B and 18N from the (14C, 14B) and (18O, 18N) reactions

The (14C, 14B) and (18 O, 18N) reactions on a 14C target have been utilized to determine the mass excess of the 14B and 18N nuclei. An excited state of 18N is observed at 575 ± 25 keV.
