Le Tricastin romain
Résumé
This publication gives the results of a multidisciplinary research carried out over decades about the Tricastin region and the centuriation that has structured its countryside since the end of the Roman republic. This research also related to Gallo-Roman housing forms, through aerial and ground surveys and excavations. This publication gives a detailed synthesis on the evolution of the populating system during Antiquity. This publication ends with an archeological approach of the evolution of landscape due to centuriation. The issue of how the morphological frame of centuriation B has become durable is brought up.
L'ouvrage livre les résultats d'une recherche pluridécennale et pluridisciplinaire sur le Tricastin antique et sur la centuriation qui en a structuré les campagnes dès la fin de la République romaine. L'ouvrage offre une synthèse détaillée sur l'évolution du système du peuplement durant l'Antiquité.
