Aeroacoustic noise prediction for SRM

Résumé

High speed motors produce an important aeroacoustic noise which restrains their field of use. In this paper we focus on an adaptation of some aeroacoustic studies in the case of a single phase SRM whose rotation rate is between 25,000 and 45,000 rpm under low rotational Mach number (M<0.15). This paper aims to build an aeroacoustic noise prediction procedure dedicated to electrical motors.
