L'adverbe "un peu" comme modalisateur métalinguistique

French constructions "Partir, c'est mourir un peu" and "Partir, c'est un peu mourir" do not have the same interpretation. The aim of this article is to observe the different uses of the French adverb "un peu" and to reveal that is likely to be identified as a French enunciation adverb, without however having of them the usual properties syntactic, which results in reconsidering the adverb characterizations in use.

A partir du constat que "Partir, c'est mourir un peu" et "Partir, c'est un peu mourir" n'ont pas le même sens, on montre que "un peu" est susceptible d'un emploi d'adverbe d'énonciation, sans toutefois en avoir les propriétés syntaxiques habituelles, ce qui conduit à reconsidérer les caractérisations en vigueur.
