Résumé
The abolition of the crime of sodomy in 1791 results from a long social and repressive process. At first, we observe a sliding in the definition of sodomy, which towards the end of the XVIIIth century indicates globally the male homosexual. On the other hand, we observe during the XVIIIth century, a transfer of the speeches on the sexual and emotional practices between men. These are analyzed within the framework of a debate on the nature. Also, the appearance of the male sodomy in the loose literature seems good to have for motivation to distinguish particular felt pleasures. On the other hand, the crime of sodomy is very rarely applied: for pure sodomy, the last time in 1750. The police repression gets the upper hand, in a context of visibility of the subcultures sodomites. L'abolition du crime de sodomie en 1791 résulte d'un long processus social et répressif. D'abord, on observe un glissement dans la définition de sodomie, qui vers la fin du XVIIIe siècle désigne globalement l'homosexuel masculin. D'autre part, on observe au cours du XVIIIe siècle, une mutation des discours sur les pratiques sexuelles et affectives entre hommes. Celles-ci sont analysées dans le cadre d'un débat sur la nature. De même, l'apparition de la sodomie masculine dans la littérature licencieuse semble bien avoir pour motivation de distinguer des plaisirs ressentis particuliers. D'autre part, le crime de sodomie est très rarement appliqué : pour sodomie pure, la dernière fois en 1750. La répression policière prend le dessus, dans un contexte de visibilité des subcultures sodomites. Finalement l'abolition du crime de sodomie en 1791 consacre une évolution faisant passer la sodomie d'un acte interdit à un personnage stigmatisé.
