In designing and constructing a computer tool for musical creation, the instrumental gesture is especially relevant for real time control of the sound synthesis processes by simulation of instrumental mechanisms. This study is based on the implementation of a complete system to enable the capture and memorisation of the instrumental gesture during play, i.e. when instrumentalist/instrument relationship is established.
