Comportement hydromécanique d'un milieu élastique non saturé par une approche micromécanique

The objective of this study is the prediction of the hydromechanical behaviour of the linear porous and unsaturated medium by considering the structure of the effective stress. An approach of homogenisation in two stages based on the classical solution of Eshelby is carried out. It is shown that the effective stress is related to the microscopic conceptual model used and the microstructure. In this contribution, we consider an expression of the effective stress which is a nonlinear function of saturation. Under certain conditions the approach suggested makes it possible to define a stress of Bishop type. The predictions of the model are compared with known expressions of the effective stress in the literature.
