Résumé
Using a murine model of disseminated infection by , the efficacy of liposomal amphotericin (L-AmB) B at 10mg/kg body weight once daily and terbinafine (TRB) at 150mg/kg body weight twice daily, alone and in combination, was evaluated. The combination of L-AmB with TRB was the only treatment able to prolong survival and to reduce fungal loads in the spleen and kidneys of mice infected with either strain of used. The results suggest that this combination may have a role in the treatment of infection.
