Résumé
As far back as the 1980s, governments decided to stop providing advisory services to farmers. At the same time, private firms, co-ops and civil organizations took on greater importance. This article looks at the governance and advisory services in Québec, Canada. Although governments have stopped providing advisory services, they continued to fund them. They have also established partnerships with certain stakeholders, giving them some responsibility in policy implementation.
