Compétence sociolinguistique et dysfluence en L2
Résumé
In this article we look at elements of dysfluency in speech. Applying the methods of conversation analysis, we look at how apparent dysfluency in speech can in fact serve to bring about interactional fluency. We look at how this phenomenon can be observed in L2 data as learners use hesitation as an interactional device. We suggest this fluency in interaction can be considered as sociolinguistic competence in L2.
