Characterization of the mangansese functional center site in BaTiO3 by right-angle wiggling EPR spectroscopy
Résumé
The recently introduced right-angle wiggling (RAW) EPR technique is applied to enhance the resolution of complicated spectra resulting from high-spin centers. In particular, RAW-EPR spectra facilitate a considerable resolution enhancement for orientationally disordered systems with anisotropic magnetic interactions and provide direct access to spin-Hamiltonian parameters, without the need of numerical spectrum simulation. As an example of application, the Mn2+-functional center in polycrystalline BaTiO3 is studied.
